International Undergraduate Admissions (Academic Year 2026–2027)

The International Campus of Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) invites applications from international students holding a high school diploma for admission to its international undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Required Documents

  • Academic transcripts for the final three years of high school
  • A copy of your passport or national identification document (ID card or birth certificate)
  • A recent passport-sized photograph

Academic Preparation Program

During the first two semesters, admitted students will complete a preparatory program designed to strengthen their Persian language proficiency and academic foundation before joining their chosen degree program.

First Semester

  • Persian Language (5 days per week, 4 hours per day)
  • Calculus I (3 credits) with 6 additional tutorial credits supported by international PhD students
  • Physics I (3 credits) with 6 additional tutorial credits supported by international PhD students
  • Physical Education

Second Semester

  • Persian Language (4 days per week, 4 hours per day)
  • Calculus II (3 credits) with 6 additional tutorial credits supported by international PhD students
  • Physics II (3 credits) with 6 additional tutorial credits supported by international PhD students
  • English Language (3 credits)
  • Sports I (1 credit)

Major Selection

After the second semester grades are announced, students may select up to five preferred majors.

Placement into academic schools will be determined by the University’s Admission Committee based on the following criteria:

  1. Grade Point Average (GPA) earned during the first two semesters.
  2. Total number of credits successfully completed.
  3. Persian language proficiency.
  4. Students will then continue their studies alongside Iranian students in their assigned academic program.

To further support academic success, Persian language courses will continue during the third and fourth semesters in parallel with undergraduate coursework.

Tuition Fee

Tuition is determined by the University’s Board of Trustees and is currently equivalent to EUR 1,200 per semester (payable in Iranian Rial).
